The votes are in...

The snappoll has spoken. We will be moving to Tokyo.

The only city in the poll that is more expensive than Dublin. Thanks.

I won't have the right to work there, so Riko will do the breadwinning and I'll shop for shoes and take care of the kid.

What's remarkable about these results is that the top three, Tokyo, Reykjavik, and Las Vegas, are places where our friends and family don't live. Given that those solicited to vote in the poll are our friends and families, the message is quite clear: Mike and Riko, stay away!

Live and learn.

Today is Riko's birthday. I think I won't tell her how you feel.

Well, John voted for Los Angeles, where we live, so there! Otherwise you have every right to be offended.

Many Happy Birthday wishes to Riko!!!

Yeah, but here's the thing: You could have voted as often as you wanted. Chicago style.

To get a better sense of where your friends stand you should have proposed Moscow as an alternate.

I don't think I could have handled that level of insult.

In sending us to Tokyo you all have said, "Europe isn't far enough."
